Patient Access Representative – PRN (ER)

The gig: You're the first face patients see when they walk through our Emergency Center doors. That means you set the tone—calm, efficient, human. You'll register patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and keep the front desk running smoothly so the clinical team can focus on care.

The schedule: PRN | 12-hour shifts | Days, nights, weekends available

What you'll actually do:

Register patients and nail the details (demographics, insurance, Workers' Comp, MVA)
Collect copays and handle daily deposits and reconciliations
Keep patient charts organized—scanning, filing, the works
Answer phones without letting anyone feel like a number
Track patient volumes and maintain logs
Stay HIPAA-tight and safety-sharp

What you bring:

1-3 years in a healthcare front desk or registration role
Real experience with health insurance—including Workers' Comp and MVA
Bilingual Spanish/English (required)
Solid grasp of medical terminology
The kind of calm that doesn't crack under pressure
